Welcome to the Freedom Swim Club! Home of the Dolphins!
The Freedom Swim Club (FSC) is a private, not-for-profit swim club tucked away in a beautiful wooded setting off Johnsville Rd. in Sykesville, Maryland. The Club began operations in 1973 and was created to promote the community’s health and general well-being. The pool operates from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends and is open to members only. Freedom Swim Club’s membership comprises 300 families living in south Carroll County. The Club provides an active social program for the entire family, including swim lessons, family fun day, movie nights, and adult-only socials, including the annual crab feast!
Freedom Swim Club’s swim team, The Freedom Dolphins, competes in the Central Maryland Swim League.

Parties at the Pool
We are excited to help you plan your get together at the pool. Please fill out this form to submit your party request. Please note that your party is not approved until you receive confirmation from us that approval has been grated. If your party has more than 10 swimming guests, or the children in your party are under the age of 10, an additional lifeguard may be necessary. This is a charge to the party at the rate of $20/hr
